round up

1. The Washington monument officials are not sure when it will be reopened. The earthquake did some damage to it where they also found water inside from the hurricane.  The monument costs $1,187,710 the style is neo-egyptian I was finished on December 6, 1884 and didn't open up to the public until October 9, 1888.

 2. Last week the two hikers that were kept hostage in Iran were set free after two long years. Since they were let go they came out talking about why they were captured. After experiencing that I am sure they won't return or hike in the middle east again.

3. Ichiro Suzuki the face of the Seattle Mariners may not return with them after this season. Seattle says he did not meet expectations for this year and they might not want him with rookies that are coming up. The team is crap to be honest and to lose their main guy who holds all their single season records and will be a hall of famer when he retires will make that team even more crap.

4. Sunday afternoon the Bills overcame a 21 point deficit to defeat the New England Patriots 34-31. Tom Brady threw 4 interceptions for the first time since 2003. The Bills ended a 15 game losing streak to New England with that win. For the first time in years the Bills are 3-0 to begin the season.

5. Sunday afternoon Micheal Vick bruised his right hand against their division rival the New York Giants. He was unable to return after coming out of the game due to swelling on his non throwing hand. He was unable to get a grip on the ball when having to hand off the ball for a running play. He bruised it when taking a late hit by Canty.
